The CNRCC Meetings on May 4 to 6 were well worth attending. The reports from the many issue committees were excellent, although very short. I hope at future meetings we can find a way to allow more time for each committee.
The slides from the Coastal Committee presentation are here.
On Sunday, there was a good discussion about forming a committee or task force to develop a Sierra Club policy on sea level rise. This will be separate from the Coastal Committee, and will focus on preparing policy recommendations for submission to the National Board of Directors. There is a collection of resources on sea level rise on the issue page.
